JOB PURPOSE
The Restaurant Manager has a key role in managing the operations of our Main Dining room Location on board of the Ship.
In accordance with our MSC guidelines you will be tasked with supervision of the Restaurant and enhance our guests expectations in providing excellent service.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
You will be assisting the Dining Operations Manager in ensuring compliance with quality and sanitation standards and procedures in all restaurants, crew mess rooms and room service,
You will be responsible of inspecting that all restaurant service stations are clean and the Mise en Place is correct before and after every service,
You will controls the daily work of dining service crew in your assigned restaurant,
You will have to motivate the dining service staff to improve food & beverage revenue,
You will be tasked in handling and resolve guest complaints regarding dining quality and service
Supports the Dining Operations Manager in their cost control responsibility through close monitoring of the inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
Fluent English, oral and written. Any additional European language is considered an advantage (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish and French)
Education within hotel/catering industry or equivalent experience in 4/5 star restaurant, hotel or resort, with a fast pace
Computer literacy is highly suggested
Good management and organization skills
Sales and target oriented
Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
Cruise industry experience is an advantage
VISA REQUIREMENTS (if any)
A Recognized medical certification is required before starting to work on board.
Possess a valid passport and when possible a seaman book copy.
STCW95 certification is compulsory (basic fire fighting, personal survival techniques, elementary first aid, personal security and social responsibility);
